Who are we looking for
Running a Clothesline Diet Club franchise is a great opportunity. The ideal candidate:
Has a friendly, outgoing personality, a true ‘people person’ • Has great empathy for people seeking to overcome obesity issues • Takes pride in their appearance and their club • Is punctual and good time manager • Likes to be very well organized • Is a team player and ‘team’ builder • Sets achievable KPI’s • Aware of their strengths and weaknesses • Enjoys building relationships with members • Has their own “story” • Preferably has Cert IV in Personal training • Is a rigorous believer in strict health and hygiene • Is patient and understanding of others.
How the club works
The Clothesline Diet Club operates via a system of club membership, with members paying monthly membership fees that allow them unlimited access to all programs and circuits during the week. The Franchisee would be the key day to day operator but with contracted service providers assisting with classes for Nutrition, Boxing, Thai- Bo etc as and where required. The Club operates during daytime and evening sessions 6 days per week. Members are monitored and weight loss and health improvements are measured and celebrated.
Health & Fitness Industry
According to the IBISWorld Gym and Fitness Centres Australia report there are over 3,300 gym/fitness businesses in Australia, in conjunction to increasing annual growth and the consumer health consciousness index – the saturation of the industry will continue over the next five years.
A gym or fitness studio is often more than just a place to exercise – it becomes a hub within the community that attracts people to socialise rather than just a destination. For a franchisee or business owner it’s important to ensure that you and your business are constantly in the spotlight so that the community is aware of who you are and what you are doing – this will make them want to be a part of your hub.
The Clothesline Diet Club is perfectly positioned to address the “gap in the market”
Sky is the limit
Unlike many other gyms and fitness centres with fancy fitouts, mirrors and skinny models, large weight rooms and overcrowded equipment, The Clothesline Diet Club is a unique business model focused very strongly on delivering life changing outcomes for its members.
Karen Gatt has had great success as both a woman who overcame her weight problem by following a simple program and as a motivator and encourager for other women, men and children facing similar issues. As the author of 4 books and having appeared on the Oprah show and current affair on a number of occasions, Karen knows firsthand just what her brand has achieved and what it can achieve via franchising the model worldwide. The sky really is the limit so why not join the team?
